A subsidiary of MTV Networks, Nickelodeon operates Nick Jr., TeenNick, Nicktoons, and Nick @ Nite. Nickelodeon’s In-House Creative Services handle advertising, publicity and marketing needs as they relate to photography; from concept, production and processing, to tracking talent approvals, retouching, servicing media outlets, and working with licensees.
The team realized that printing and shipping time-sensitive assets was costly and eco-inefficient. The team also experienced difficulties tracking work-in-progress shoots and managing content with their busy production schedules.
globaledit was implemented to bring together talent, publicists, marketing, advertising and legal teams for global collaboration and 24/7 access to the most up-to-date assets. globaledit’s Approval Galleries provide talent with a simple, easy-to-use interface to approve images. globaledit was designed to serve as the central repository for all Nickelodeon assets. Several thousand images are archived to the system annually for continuous access by all approved users, which are supported easily by globaledit’s secure data and storage facilities.
The creative department is able to deliver market-ready assets faster than ever.
Approval Galleries allow users to collaborate from anywhere, anytime, for faster communication and turnaround. Talent is able to automatically notify publicity groups when images are ready for creative use and production teams are able to track work-in-progress materials.
